Chicken shwarma

Shwarma is a levantine Arab meat preparation, where lamb, chicken, turkey, beef, or mixed meats are placed on a spit and may be grilled for as long as a day. 
      It was invented in Turkey during 18th century. 
It can be served on a plate or as a sandwich or wrap. 
Today I'll share the recipe of chicken shwarma which u can easily make at your home. 

   Ingredients :-
Boneless chicken (chest pieces)_ 1kg
All purpose flour (maida)_3cups
 For marination
Yougurt     1/2cup
Oil          2tbsp
Chicken masala   1tbsp
Corriander powder   1tbsp
Red chilli sauce  2tbsp 
Green chilli sauce  , 2tbsp 
Tomato sauce  2tbsp 
Black pepper powder  1/2tbsp
Turmeric 1/2tbsp
Red chilli powder  1/2tbsp
Fennel seed powder  1/2tbsp
Vinegar  2tbsp
Salt  as per taste 


Method :-
1)first clean the chicken properly, and keep it on rest for 10mints. 
2)now cut these chicken breasts into small and very thin slices. 
3) take a mixing bowl add all the marinade ingredients in it and put also the chicken in it. Left it for marination for one hour. 
4)during this time prepare the dough for shwarma wrap. 
5)take 3cups of Maida in a bowl add a pinch of salt and mix it well add luke warm water to it as required to kneed the dough. Keep it on rest for 15 minutes. 
6)now take small portions of the dough and roll it into a chapati, do not over cook the chapati. Keep all cooked chapattis in a towel so that they will remain soft. 
7)after one hour, took a pan put 2tbsp of oil in it and put the marinated chicken strips in it. 
8)keep stirring it constantly till all the moisture in it is absorbed completely and it will become dry. 
9)now take out these strips on a chopping board and mince it with the help of a knife. 
For wrap
10) took a chapati apply some garlic mayonnaise on it and put a good amount of minced chicken And wrap it in a roll. 
Follow the same procedure for other chapattis too. 
Enjoy the shwarma with some dips like mayonnaise, hummus etc
