Bread crossiants

Crossiants are usually from the puff pastry dough but today I have tried something new, made it with bread dough.
Here is the recipe.
Ingredients :-
Maida 2.5 cups
Salt 1tbsp
Sugar 2tbsp
Instant yeast 1tbsp
Luke warm milk 1 cup
Refined oil 2tbsp
FOR FILLING
Dessicated coconut 1/4cup
Chopped cashews 8-10
Chopped almonds 8-10
Chopped pistachios 8-10
Milk 1/2cup
Sugar 1tbsp

METHOD :-
1) Take the Maida in a bowl, add salt, sugar and yeast to it mix properly, add refined oil and mix again.
2)now knead it with Luke warm milk for about 12 minutes till soft dough is formed. Put few drops of oil and rub it all over the surface of dough and cover it and keep it on a warm place for about 2hrs till it gets fermented.
3)now prepare the filling for crossiants,
Take the milk +sugar in a pan and bring it to boil, add the dry fruits and keep stirring till all the milk gets absorbed and allow it to cool.
4)roll the dough and cut it into equal portions and make small dough balls of them.
5)flatten these dough balls into chapattis with roller, and brush some melted butter on each chapatti and place them on one another and make a pile of them.
6)now flatten it again with roller into a large chapatti, and cut it into small triangle shaped portions.
7) take one portion fill it with prepared filling and roll it and repeat the process with other ones.
Grease a baking tray with butter and place these crossiants on it and brush some milk over them.
8)now bake them in a preheat cooker for about 40_50minutes on low to medium flame.
Your crossiants are ready. Enjoy. 😆
